C3ForMe

Internship, Fall 2024

https://c3forme.org/

In the Fall of 2024, I worked as a part-time graphic design intern at C3ForMe. Led by Janae Duclos, PhD, they are an organization that creates special education resources. During my time at C3ForMe, I helped brainstorm and iterate various projects. I also noticed the products section of their website could be improved, so I led the redesign of that section.

Social Story

Dr. Duclos wrote a social story Getting Ready to Graduate, which walks the reader through preparing for a high school graduation ceremony and what they can do after school, such as college or work. A social story is a story that explains a social situation, teaching the reader what is expected and how to respond to certain behaviors.

I made two digital drawings for what the main character, Sam, looked like. I also helped format the book and its text.

Worksheet

Along with another intern, I formatted an education and employment worksheet. We then combined our ideas for the final worksheet.

Products Page

Upon navigating the C3ForMe website, I noticed a problem. When clicking on one of the three products for sale, I was taken straight to the checkout screen, without any product description. I worked with the web developers to create a page that displayed all the product information in a user-friendly way.
